One Piece Design For Easier Installation

Traditional sealing solutions cannot provide adequate safety at elevated application levels. The integrated spiral spring in the S seal ensures high pressure resilience, excellent resistance to rolling and bunching, and simple fitting. A standard range designed to suit AS668B O-Ring housings is available to be retrofitted into original O-Ring grooves in three standard lengths.

Product Description

Freudenberg Flow Technologies Spring Seals are mostly used in stab and static applications for high cyclic pressure and temperature peaks of up to 15,000 psi and 210° C (410° F) or higher, depending on housing design and material choice. Used for many oil and gas applications like within wellheads, downhole tools and surface pressure control equipment, Freudenberg Flow Technologies’ Spring Seals are supplied in a wide range of materials. Custom sized designs are also available.

Freudenberg Flow Technologies’ 400 series long axial groove length 5.00” and 13.00” S Seals were successfully pressure/temperature cycle tested in accordance with API-6A and ISO 10423, Made in our proprietary Gazguard material, the seals were qualified to 15,000 psi from 0°F (-18°C) to 410°F (210°C). Test certification is available for download to registered users.

Spring seals from Freudenberg Flow Technologies are available in commercial grades like NBR, HNBR, FKM and our high performance Gazguard ® grades, engineered to offer superior performance in demanding applications, Norsok M-710 RGD, Norsok M-710 sour gas and ISO 10423 (API 6A) chemical ageing immersion and fixture testing and ISO 10423 F.1.11 pressure and thermal cycling testing.
